Is the free plugin really free — no caps, no trial?​

Yes. Every free feature is complete and uncapped. You pay only your AI provider (OpenAI) for the tokens you use. Pro is a separate set of additional modules, not an unlock.

How much does a blog post cost me in API fees?​

Typically a few cents with GPT-4o (less with GPT-4o Mini). Every run shows its exact token usage and estimated cost, and batch actions show an estimate before running.

Does my content pass through Auto RepAI's servers?​

No. Prompts go directly from your server to your AI provider, billed to your own key. See External services.

Which AI models can I use for free?​

Every OpenAI text and image model — GPT-4o, the GPT-5.x family, GPT Image. OpenAI models are never restricted in the free plugin. Pro adds Claude, Gemini, OpenRouter, DeepSeek, Stability, Replicate and Leonardo.

Will AI content hurt my SEO?​

Unedited, mass-published AI content can. Auto RepAI's philosophy is repair + review: ground generation in your facts, repair what exists, and always edit drafts. Google's guidance targets unhelpful content, not AI assistance per se.

What is GEO and why should I care?​

Generative Engine Optimization — being quotable by ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini answers. A growing share of discovery happens there. Start with the AI Visibility scanner and llms.txt.

Does it work with my page builder / theme?​

Generated content is standard WordPress post content, so yes. Quick AI Edit works in Gutenberg and Classic; page-builder-specific layouts are best edited in the builder after generation.

Do I need WooCommerce?​

Only for the store tools (product scanner, alt-text scanner, Product Advisor). Everything else works on any WordPress site.

How does the Pro trial work?​

7 days, no credit card, started from the plugin (delivered via Freemius). Cancel and the free plugin continues untouched.

Can I use one Pro license on client sites?​

Multi-site licensing depends on the plan you pick at checkout. Settings export/import makes rolling your configuration to each site trivial.

What happens to my data if I uninstall?​

Deleting the plugin removes all its tables, options, scheduled jobs and its own post meta. Your posts, products, and their content remain untouched.
